In 1981, following the acquisition of a patent for her unique candle lamps, Johanna Schloegl founded a workshop which was to develop into the present company. The lamps are made in three parts: a hollow wax cylinder, an inside candle and a stand. The interior candle, which can be changed, illuminates the cylinder without causing it to melt. Dried flowers and grasses are used for decoration, and handpainted motifs or festive designs of a high quality of craftsmanship are also available. Each candle has its own unique character
